I just upgraded by mother board from a dual PIII to an AMD 2800 (1gb DDR memory). I am running XP Pro. During the upgrade, I re-installed XP over the previous system.
I have several projects now that when I load QBX and attempt to execute in interpreter mode (F5), immediately shows "Out of Memory". This problem did not exist with the PIII system. The exact same libraries and modules will execute perfectly on another WIN2K system also running a PIII.
I can get the program to execute by selectively removing subs but this is just to confirm that it is indeed a memory allocation thing.
I have shut off the virus checker and in "Properties" for QBX have run with just about every combination of "Memory" tab setting available. The original settings were all set to "AUTO".
This does not appear to be an XP problem but an AMD problem.
All help will be appreciated.javascript:emoticon('')
