New Script for you

I don't know where to post this, but i am creating a new script in php for you lot to use.

The idea of it is, you upload your code, and people can add things to it and edit it. Sorta like a wiki.

dunno when it will be finished.

could you list some features we could expect? like syntax highlighting, tracking code changes? are you trying to make it like a wiki where anyone with an account can edit stuff?

ok some more info for you.

The original writer of the code, will upload the code to the site, it will then appear in the listings on the page. You can then add things, edit things or delete things and then save that. It won't save over it but will save it as a modified version. So the the next person can choose to have original version or modified version.

but will the system be able to automatically track code changes? Are you going to make something like a CVS system @ sourceforge.net(but less complicated)?

some more news on this,

i have written most of the mysql bits for the thing. just gotta complete that, fix a few bugs that only occur in IE add a layout and it's done.

Maybe a demo in 2weeks time.
