I always wear lead armor when I'm at my computer. And CRT screens do not emit X-Rays... (luckily
). They emit
normal light and a little
beta radiation. Nothing to worry about

As I said, I always wear lead armor when I'm sitting in front of a CRT monitor
Probably the X-Ray emission won't be that high to be a consistent threat to your health.
