Hola! I'm not a artist and I'm no musician, but I was wondering if there's any easy way to make my own midi-music ? Is there any programs (freeware?) that allows the user to make their own midi-music in a easy way without any external hardware (music instruments) ? I'm not looking for the "latest" stuff, I just wan't to experiment and play around for fun.
Thanks.

Well, you can use noteworthy composer:

If you know how to read music, that's a good choice. Unfourtunately the demo only allows 9 saves on a file, but you can always copy and paste your entire score...
You an also use WinJammer Demo (just google for it) because it isn't crippled in any serious way and from what I heard it is quite good.

I use Music Master and Cakewalk. If you are not against grabbing them from Kazaa, go ahead.

See if you can find an old microsoft BETA app called 'Microsoft Music Producer' released in 1996. It's a real easy way for a *non-musician* to produce a good quality MIDI.
Here's a page describing it:

The free BETA download doesn't seem to exist at microsoft anymore, but google produces a few places to find it.
It does all the work for you, and when you hear something you like you can save the generated MIDI. You can choose different styles, length of the song, tempo, looping option, etc..
The program doesn't work with WinME.
