The Gaming Gold Awards 2004

For all of you who've been waiting for this: it's just about ready. If all goes according to plan, then not only will today mark the opening of this year's Gaming Golds, but it will also mark the new opening of V Planet!. The only thing that will stop me from bringing these two things to life today is the weather here in PR...if the storm grows too heavy, we may lose power, which means no work will get done on the site. However, here's hoping everything will stay online. So...by tonight, V Planet! should be fully operational at its new address. I cannot promise anything, but this is the plan. I've taken the entire day off from other work to solely concentrate on this task.

Okay, there's been a minor setback...the server is going to have to change for the new V Planet. I've already made the arrangements, but you know how DNS is...so it's going to be the "usual" 48 hour wait. In the meantime, I will do the update on the existing V Planet location at hulla-balloo. Never fear...things are otherwise right on schedule thus far.

Looks like this old server can't handle my new scripts for GGA2004, so it's going to have to wait until the domain has cleared the DNS system. Anyways, V Planet will be updated today anyways, as soon as I can get on the FTP.
