What style do you think you use for your graphics?

I just thought that this would be an interesting question... so I could find out how everyone does their sprites and stuff.

I voted Digitilized People, those are cool. Also, the AI has to be really good for that, and that (in my opinion) makes a good game.
I also like realistic 2D tiles. Again, quite cool.

Well, I guess it would make sense to respond to my own post...

Personally I like 2D Animeish graphics more than the others. It just seems to allow more than the others, and can bend physics a little better. I do also like 3D Graphics simply because the people look more real, but not as much as 2D Cartoonish, simply because they're not as worried about proportions as much. (By the way, does anyone know where I can see ANY moving video of SF3? I've heard soooo much about the animation yet I haven't seen it in motion not *once*)

Digitalized graphics... well, it's okay for that Mac game where beautiful women fought half-naked, but it sucked in MK series. The players looked sticky and the movements looked fake. It is hard to digitalize someone doing one of those jumps Tongue

Personally, I really wouldn't mind if there was another digitalized game, as long as there was a *whole* lot of animation fixes. One thing I don't get though. When I played Mortal Kombat and the evil Street Fighter: The Movie the game... I noticed when they walked their bodies were completely stiff but their legs were the only things moving...

Whatever, but... weren't we talking about our style for our graphics?

i use my own style. you dont "have" to conform to a style, and i've seen some excellent styles totally removed from the above. anime, especially, is overcrowding the market. there's only so many hairstyles you can put on the same face and figure before every single anime character looks the same. more importantly is creating your own style, which is then tuned to perfection.
