What was your favorite/greatest video game accomplishment?
#31
Got another "great accomplishment"...finished the Dragon Slayer quest in RuneScape...the single most difficult quest for F2P players (high-level green dragon with a killer breath weapon). Of course, now that I'm a P2P player, it's on to powering up enough to challenge the King Black Dragon one-on-one (the KBD is a level 276 enemy...far more powerful than 99.9% of all RuneScape players).

wow... level 276. I stopped playing long ago. It's just boring to me now. I only go one once in a while...

I remember reading about some game called x plane... it's supposed to be incredibly realistic in terms of handling. If i recall right, it's actually used in training pilots.

Quote:JCKFM: Not only could I beat most anyone with the Ryu wanabe (the guy with fireballs and a dragon punch, I forget his name now), but I was the first person at our local arcade to figure out how to do fatalities in that game.

The guys name was 'Ken' for USA
good old street fighter, eh?

---

I don't play many vid-games, but my best accomplishment was in Splintercell for XBox - In the last area [Georia], where you get to the square garden area, I foot-stepped completely through it, and fired not a shot [only in the garden - had to use the smg a few times afterward] - that was some crazy stuff.....though, I had to leave the sniper, since i lacked the ability to climb up to him and knock-him out

Also, for XBox, in 'Sega GT', my brother and I had made more than 1million dollars - we have bought almost everycar, and can do almost anything.

---

I guess that's it, really

He means Dan, and please, don't call'em "fatalities". They are "Super Combo Finish"es.

I hate Mortal Kombat, btw.

Hey Oz, the guy's name was not "Ken". Big Grin Wait a sec, I'll fire up MAME and see if I can find his name...ah okay, his name was "Lau". No wonder I couldn't remember it. And yes, they were fatalities. If anyone was paying attention, I was talking about JCKFM, which is "Jackie Chan: Kung Fu Master". There were no "Super Combo Finishes" in that game. Tongue :rotfl:

(Although it was rather easy to get a combo plus a kill...I distinctly remember doing a 4-hit jump-in combo into a dragonkiller fatality for quite an impressive win...then of course, if you timed it just right, you could kick your opponent into the "camera" for another fatality type...)

HEHE I thought you were talking about SF Wink

The Ryu wannabe in there is the great Dan. One of my fave fighters.

Is that game good? Should I donwload it for MAME?

And, it is *so* amazing that real splendid accomplishments do take some flat-darned good time, and even some hard effort and patience like that, you know? Cool !

And to Adosorken:

My congratulations to you so far, man!!! :king: As for that small sheet with the red “X” inside of it that I keep seeing today in my neck of the woods, if that were to be replaced with the picture of your great accomplishment from the game RuneScape, then it would be superbly impressive even more, but as it is, Adosorken, an *amazing* accomplishement for you, if not one of your best, you know what I am saying now? Big Grin !!

Thank you all and congratulations on your high scores and accomplishments, and just keep ‘em coming!! Cool

na_than: It's a great game...but unfortunately, it's not yet playable. Most of the chips are emulated but there's a problem with one of the video units...which happens to power the actual gameplay. Big Grin

Adigun: I see the image just fine...all it is is a picture of the KBD, remote linked from RuneScape's website. Probably not very nice of me to do, but...oh to hell with it. Big Grin But I'm still working towards that final goal...however, I'm not sure if RuneScape will still have its hold on me after I've conquered the KDB...well, I suppose there's always being #1 on the high scores list to shoot for...the current top-ranked player is Zezima...a 1854th level player with 236,790,276 experience points. I got a way to go before topping that. Big Grin

People can challenge the KBD in teams and take it down I've heard (though still terribly difficult to do)...but I want that sucka one on one. Big Grin
