Thinking of writing a tutorial...
#1
I'm thinking of writing a tutorial based on what I've learned while doing Music for the leaving cert. I got the idea after reading a post a while ago by some guy who wanted to write music for a game, but couldn't read or write music scores, and that was the way his midi program worked. I understand most of you use samples/loops or record your own shit, but do you think it would be helpful?

Of course it would be aimed at writing music for games, but not expressly. I'm no musician myself but I've learned a formula to write music that sounds fine (not brilliant, but not dissonant) where you don't need to be musically minded. That's what it would be.

Anyway, if you feel it would be useful post back or something...

That sounds pretty interesting. Give it a go, man. Big Grin
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.
