Okay. I didn't understood you completely. So you are doing this thing in C++. Do you really need objects? That thing about the pointer you showed before is a walkaround so this can be used without objects?

What's the progress, so far? I mean, what's still in the TO DO list?

Yeah, default is in a window. You can tell it to use fullscreen too.
