How do I record music directly from an instrument to a PC...
#1
I have one of those (Aux?) Outlets, the one that connects from an eletric guitar to the amp. Is there an outlet to connect to it in the computer? If so, where is that outlet  ? And if not, what do I need to connect?

Thanks for helP!

What do you want exactly to do? Connecting an audio cable to the PC to record an analog signal? Use "Line in" or "Mic in" in your soundcard, it depends on your signal being amplified (use Line In) or not (use Mic In).

If you mean to control instruments from the PC or record MIDI and stuff thru' an external instrument, thing gets trickier. You need a soundcard with MIDI support. Most of the time you have it in your game adaptor, you just have to buy a cable.
