Tutorials

Wouldn't it be dandy if someone wrote some tutorials for freeBASIC?

Now while there is no point writing tutorials about the stuff that is there in all the QB tutorials availible at say, petes qb site, maybe some tutorials on how to use freeBASIC's new powers would be dandy.

A lot to ask I know.

I guess if it's too much, then how about some links to tutorials for TinyPTC, or GL or SDL or something?

Here's a few. You'll have to convert the C code to Basic, but it's not that hard. Wink

OpenGL...

SDL...

TinyPTC is really easy. Just look at one of the example files iv the gfx dir of FreeBasic. Tongue

The next issue of qbxl (which is nearly complete, believe it or not!) will have a couple articles on FreeBASIC. It's those articles keeping the release of the mag.

Ever wondered how to port your code? Wink
