Glad to get you on your feet finally. :wink: Anyways, FreeBASIC is its own language, so you should probably program in that. But, as far as that goes, it's pretty much QB syntax with some sexy upgrades. I can't remember how much experience you had before, but just mess around with it and maybe pick through some examples. Like I mentioned earlier, my current project has the source (I'd post a link to it, but Geocities won't allow direct linking) and has basic text handling, function calling, math stuff, and file input/output stuff.. so if you wanna start looking through that, be my guest. The project page has the .zip with the source, or you can get it from freebasic.tk (which also has some other good stuff):
