You can't get screenshots from future lib apps, unless you write your own screenshot routine, I somehow doubt he has done that.
Just my regular sceptisism. (sp?)

Future lib uses standard VESA modes; there are plenty of TSRs that can capture those.

:barf:

Guidosoft: There is a routine Future.Snapshot which will capture the screen for you. Here is its declaration:
Quote:DECLARE SUB Future.SNAPSHOT (FileName$)

Who cares about capturing the screen. Not me. I already got all of that crap done. I just need to dynamicly allocate and disallocate memory. ANd modify it. I also need to read and write to it.

Is there something wrong with using a library?
I ONLY use it for things like mouse/graphics/keyboard event handling for my FAKE Operating System.

Anyway, I can't load two libs at once and I won't switch from future to any other.

Oh, and one more thing: Compared to my windowing system: GIMI SUCKS!!!!

Yea yea, I thaught GIMI was cool once, but I am not even half way done and I can tell this will be better then GIMI. Does anyone use GIMI?
orking on BLAZEGUI for dos. It's gona be soooo coool. Gona have windows, and multi-taksking. Already finished most of the windowing system. It work swell.

Er, you can dynamically allocate memory with '$DYNAMIC, DIM and ERASE.

You can load as many libs as you want if you know how to use lib.exe Big Grin
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

Does anyone use fake OSes? Maybe you people would have better luck if you called them "DOS shells" or something... personally, I think the X Window System pwns any fake QB OS's windowing system, even though it's slow and huge...

What's X?

So does that mean no more data space messages if I use $Dynamic. And a string as long as I wan't?
