Inetinfo.exe
#1
In the Task manager of my W2000 PC at the office I have detected an inetinfo.exe process taking 25Mb of precious memory. I searched the net and I have found this is part of IIS and it's mission is "debugging" .I'm not running a server at all.I can't terminate the process. REg Cleaner does not fin it.
What can you tell me about it? Is someone "debugging" my PC or is my boss spying me? Can it be part of the Macaffee antivirus (who has another 23Mb Mcshield process running)?

Mind you, my Mcshield.exe is only 6mb, not 23! :???:

Nevermind. I found it.

I once tried IIS, then disabled the web server and removed the icon from the sys tray This left the ftp and the smtp servers running.
I have disabled them and Outlook dropped from 23Meg to 7 meg, inetinfo from 25 to 4 meg and mcshield from 23 to 7 megs. What a bunch of trash!!!
