New version of Scorched Planets

Jocke (and anyone else who was having trouble), if you want to try to download it directly from the IP address to see if it works...

... I'd much appreciate hearing if that works. Smile

Direct IP address works just fine for me...
ature has its way of warning a person away from danger: The distinct black and white coloration on a skunk, the chilling buzz of a rattlesanke, a redneck handing you his beer and saying "Watch this!"

SJ: Didn't work... I can't even access www.rpg-dev.net now

Fling: Nope. Didn't work.

Wtf?! Do I live in a town that has some problems with indie-game-development-sites or what?!

Hijacking my thread, eh? Tongue
Anyways, CWF, if you need full power every time, your either playing in 800x600 or not thinking strategically Wink but it's true that you'll need between half full and full power in most cases to win. But there are many ways to hit your opponent. Play around with the power and try some shots that aren't immediatly obvious, then you'll see... or not... maybe.

Everybody, thanks for trying the game out Smile

I never think strategically Big Grin
I played it once and won only with full power, but you're right, only full power isn't so good, if there are a lot af planets between you and your enemy...
Anyway, you win (when you aren't stupid) with full power before the 4th shot.

You have to do shots that aren't immediatly obvious...that's the key to my full-power-tactic.

cool! This game is really addicting... i spent at least an hour playing it last night. I'd really like to see you use winsock with this and make it multiplayer, but i suppose we won't be seeing that, huh? still, it'd be cool to play you in this game. Smile
