WARNING: HIGH RIDICULOUSITY!
My biology classes can get boring like hell. And one day, I was especially bored, and as soon I got home, I began working on a little song... The first words came across my mind during the last class. So... This is a little song I wrote to make fun of the biological terms. Sort of. Kind of. Anyways, the song's in danish, so don't expect to understand a word unless you speak danish or some another nordic language. But just so you know what it's about, here go the lyrics translated approximately to english:
Beside me stood two old women talking about salted macaroons.
And while I waited for my bus, I felt like a fingernail between two lice.
I had to think of something else before my head got flaws
And when I thought of things I liked, biology came across my mind
I first thought of transcriptase - it put my head into ecstasy.
After that I thought of a molecule - and was just about to holler.
My thought gave me a hint - it was time for carbohydrate decomposition.
But I didn't have much glucose and had to go with osmosis.
My beautiful hair requires glucose because it respirates!
And it's not a big deal - it's called - with a fine word - respiration!
A car, that just came by was a load of crap. I think it looked like a lymphocyte.
But then the women went down to their macaroons - and my thoughts changed into neurons.
On the street I saw a metastasis, which was pursued by amylase.
And may God find a synonym for what I thought was an enzyme!
Now I can't think up more, and shall emigrate with the bus.
The moral of all this is, as you see, - think of biology often.
And now I only hope it's funny. The texts came right away, but the music took me a whole day to think up and sequence. ...and if you want, you can download the midi file here.
I'm thinking of posting the video to it... If I get enough response, I might do that...
