For a short explanation of the game, it's sort of like Worms, only it's completely different. It's a Massively Multiplayer game, but the people on it usually aren't THAT stupid, and they have servers for people who are new to the game.

Yes, it's fun, but unless you wanna play at least 5 hours a day every day of the week, your not gonna be able to afford any accessories, or go up any ranks. I myself am a stone ax, and it took me maybe a year to get there... Though I go through periods of months on end without playing the game, which could explain it.

Just for anyone who doesn't know, get tribes. It's free. Also get the tribes rpg mod. It's worth it. Think of it as runescape first person/third person, better gfx and faster paced.

I got to a double stone ax in about 1 month and a half, playing on and off, about 1 hour a day, two if my friends were on...

I beg to differ... the people on Gunbound are extremely stupid in my experience. Tons of n00bs who really have no idea what they're doing and sore losers who would rather kill themselves then lose honourably (I'm of course referring to 1v1 matches there).

Regardless, it is a fun game. I play it on and off.... mostly off right now as I'm right into World of Warcraft.

But yeah, Gunbound = fun.

don't play again for 2 months
repeat

maybe that's why i'm so low on the food chain.
