He was just wondering, as he said (read the whole thread), whether the expressions were equivalent, regardless of whether one was superior to the other. Many answered to the effect that, yes, they were equivalent, but the DO form is to be avoided because it is just not the way we do things. These answers were incorrect and I answered that NO, they are not equivalent. That is all Dark wanted to know, and now he does. I don't see any reason this thread continues. Dark has not returned to say he still wonders. He now knows. The answer to the simple question is simply NO. Mac

Well, the thread goes on because this is what we young upstart revolting kids call a discussion.
You may not be familiar with this term, so I shall break it down: It goes something like this: Person1 says something Person2 replies Person3 Thinks different, and states that Person1 asks why Person3 replies Person4 tells everyone he thinks they're all wrong Person1 and Person2 wonder why Person4 replies [...] Etc, this i how we get to know each other, and form groups, make bonds etc. Ofcourse, you may be more used to this form of bonding/group forming: Person1 Hi everyone, look what I made Person2 omg, you suck, thats wrong! Person3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 [..] and 284 agrees Person1 replies Person2 you noob, you cant do it like that! Person3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 [..] and 284 agrees Person1 replies, and still doesent get whats wrong with you people * Then the thread dies, noone replies, and Person1 goes away
