PEEKing and POKing opened files

How do I peek and poke opened files? Normally peek and poke just works with computer addresses, how could I do this with the addresses in a file I OPENed? I searched for a command and couldnt find it. Thanks for help!

Open the file in binary mode and use GET and PUT.

Forget the POKE thing. It is just GET or PUT. Take a glance here, look at the second parameter those statements get:

GET: http://qbasicnews.com/qboho/qckadvr.gfior.shtml
PUT: http://qbasicnews.com/qboho/qckadvr.pfior.shtml
