I have no programming experience on Linux, but in Windows32 to use output redirection it is a bunch of simple API calls. Google for it...there is lots of source avalible for VB, which should pretty easy translate to VB.

is it wise to use goto to jump out of a do...loop? just remember that being bad practice in QB. neat little editor so far, though. nice option for those who feel more comfortable in that dos-like screen. heck i'd probably use it. i like it.
