Laptop Screen off
#1
Is there any way of disabling my Laptop's auto screen off?

I have set up the power options as you can see below, but the laptop seems to completely disregard my choice, turning off the screen after about 5 minutes of non-keyboard or mouse use, even if the application is in full screen mode.

It is extremely annoying trying to watch a film on it. =P

Could be your power-saving options. Try the "Disable Shut-off Timers" option.

On all my computers, laptops included, I always create an "Always Off" configuration in Windows and shut it all off, and then shut it all off in the BIOS as well.
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

On my laptop, it's in the power schemes drop-down box.
