I just found this book that's been scanned that's on the net devoted to my hometown's history, from the late 1800's to the late 1900's.
I couldn't believe it, especially since it has nearly 600 pages. Who has enough time to scan that many pages?

Oh yes. I'm finding lots of info about my friend's families that lived around here. (My family didn't come until 14 years ago.) Some people came here over 100 years ago.
If anyone actually wants to read this book, google "cordwood days to modern ways" (catchy, ain't it?)
