Fishing

How about a fishing game similar to the old Atari games? Or something like that.

It doesn't matter if you know what I mean or not...Just using an example. Just some kind of fishing game, text or graphics.

Big Grin Sounds like fun,.. I've seen things of the sort, not any by Atari, but I've seen 'em. hmm, or maybe it was a Atari hand held, oh well, I try one.. Big Grin

Just for thenheck of it, I'll tell you what the old atari fishing game was like. You had two guys, on either side of the screen. One is the player and the other is the computer. What you did is drop the line into the water(which you have complete control of) and you try to catch the biggest fish. Now, there are many fish that are able to be caught. Naturally the bigger the fish, the more points you would get. Whoever had more points by the timelimit would win.

i've seen a Qbasic fishing game before. It wasn't so great, it was basically a grid of 0's like so...

Code:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
A 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
B 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
C 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
D 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
E 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
F 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
G 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
H 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
and you specify a coordinate and it randomly says whether or not you caught something.
t feels great to be back

that's an interesting concept, but like you said it seems kinda dull.
