Where Do you get Avatars

Where do you guys get all your custom avatars? I mean like relsoft, wizardlife, dav, and Hexadecimal Disaster?

Do you make them? If so how?

Do you get them? If so where? :???:

I'll try to answer you:

wizardlife - steals the avatar from some Dead or Alive (the videogame) page, dunno which one.
dav - self made (AFAIK)
relsoft - resized and cropped image of Genjyo Sanzo, character of Gensomaden Saiyuki
me - self made, based on a character of mine, Sasha Kalashnikova.

About how to get them: some sites gives you a whole list of avatars for free. Use Google to find them, copy the URL that links to the image and then put the address in the avatar control panel as an external avatar.
You can use your own pic if you want, just make sure to crop and resize the image to an appropiate width and height. Check "Profile", also located at the top menu to see the avatar control panel, at the bottom of the page. Follow the instructions.

About how to make them: er... *cough*... draw your own picture, paint it and then follow the aforementioned instructions. And don't forget to crop and resize; large avatars screws up the forum layout... and are goddamned annoying, BTW.

Sorry to say this, but Tripod doesn't allow hot linking. Well, at least I can't see your avatar unless I check directly the image addy. And... nice one, but I think that's a bit wide.
