Mid$ function is in error?
#1
If the third parameter is a zero, Mid$ function should return a null string like QB does. FB returns a string as if the third parameter was absent.

Is it in error?

Also, if the third is a negative, it returns a string just like above. QB reports an error message if it is a negative.

Thanks, gbos.

I overlooked the other topic. Should have used the search before posting the same question.

Sorry, folks. Sad
