Well couldn't see it.

Something about allowed memory transfer with the site.

I always have mixed feelings about Sonic X.

On one hand, I think it is superb and really advanced as a engine. It rocks.

On the other hand, I don't like the fact that it is a complete rip off of an already made and successful game. 'Cause if I wanna play Sonic I set up my Genesis emulator and load the roms.

I think this could be a true QB milestone if the author(s) turned this into an original game, with original art and an original plot.

Hmm, not saying your wrong, but its great for those without the comps and systems to run emulators.. Heh, heh, I got the actual games made by SEGA.. , Sonic The Hedgehog 2, 3 & Sonic and Knucles for the actual Genisis (Have that too), so I need nether one in my case... :rotfl: Also have the PS2 Mega Collection... nevermind.

You must have a 386 if you can't run a sega emulator. MASSAGE worked in my 486.

Er, Nathan, MASSAGE is a master sytem/ gamegear emulator. SonicX is actually based on the megadrive and MEGA CD Sonic games. The best emulator, Kega, will most definitely not run on a 486. In fact, given that Kega requires win98 with directx 8.0 installed, I would be surprised if you could get a 486 machine to run an acceptable operating system.

However, even if you could, the emulation would be damn slow.

Genecyst ran stuff fairly good. But that's not the point. SonicX won't run in a 486 either.

My point is that the engine is awesome and that it uses a commercial character and copyrighted stuff is a waste. I'd rather play to an original game with amateur GFX.

It's a rip-off. The engine is awesome, a great achievement for QB. I dislike the theme 'cause, as I said, if I want sonic I play sonic.

But that's my opinion.

PS. Gens beats the crap out of Kega Big Grin Wink
