FreeBasic anomalies encountered by Moneo
#21
Well, i've the right to decide what should be added or modified as it was me spending near to 1500 hours coding and fixing FB in these past 6 months and you have to right to disagree about it and change it to whatever you please and make your own version(s), as that is allowed by the license -- that's the open-source spirit.

Being the compiler written 100% in FB itself, that is the closest possible to the *syntax* of our beloved QB, coders with many decades of experience won't have too much trouble doing the changes -- yes, there isn't a nice comment before every single line but it's not rocket-science either.

We should do like in Java, where a committee decides about every single change in the language. New releases usually take 2 to 3 years to be done, as people have different opinions and at end Sun decides what is best.. the world is not fair, is it?
