AMS Productions needs good tile/sprite and music artists for our upcoming game Legend of Aquarius. For details of the story, please visit
http://www.legendofaquarius.tk. We are looking at a 640x480 32 bit screen in FreeBasic. Tile sizes are undecided, but perhaps 40x40 or 32x32 or 24x24. It's an open discussion so you opinion counts. (See poll, 7 days.)
Music needs to have a modern theme, with some heavier stuff for battles, not that there are many. The game is more of a search and uncover adventure, and thus far the story does away with any battles to speak of.
We are open to any feedback, please leave your comments, or feel free to email either myself or MystikShadows.

I'm using tilesizes so I get roughly 10x10 tiles on a screen.
In 640x480, that would be 64x48
Ofcourse, thats just my opinion and has no real technical advantage other than looking nice ^_^

No, she didn't mean 10x10 tiles, but a 10x10 grid, and on the screen you want is 64x48 pixel tiles to make it... ^_^ lol

Screw that! It seems 32x32 might be the way to go. 5 votes at 100% of votes.
Although I will try 10x10 tiles just for things like grass etc.
>anarky - Wonders what a 2x2 grid would look like...

32x32 is pretty much the standard for 640x480 so it's no shock that people have voted for that size unanimously.
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

Yep. I think 32x32 it is, Nek.
Now Pc, we have tile sizes. The world is something like Earth, grasslands, desert water, well, everything that you'd expect to see on the planet.
>anarky - 6 x 9 = 42 works as well...
