my new hardware!

The limit for AGP 8x isnt reached yet.

PCIe is a hype yet, no card can use all the bandwidth PCIe offers, the GPU and memory cant keep up.

Same with AGP 8x, theres no card that uses 100% of the port bandwidth.

(Not counting the custom made, extreme stuff ofcourse... but thats pretty obvious..)

With that bandwith thing, it might be true, but the future is coming Wink. Anyway I dont't have time to optimize all systems here for VRAM-MEM bandwidth etc. as we are open 24/7 and they break often (kids n stuff). For me it's important that when I plug new card and install new drivers it's going as it should as fast as it can. We had more problems with radeons than with gf's in genral. gf's seem to me more robust.

ati doesent support sli, nvidia does, two nvidia gf6800's @ 256mb vs 1 radeon x850 or whatever..... no comparison, the radeon will get creamed

think whatever you want about amd vs intel, i've owned both chips personally and i know wich one is right for me, and i know whic one does more ops per clock cycle...

and on a final note, i'm not here to fight, i apologise for being rude.. we are all entitled to our own opinions

Congrats on the GeForce. I got one a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. Big Grin (even though mine's only 64mb, it still rocks the house!)
