Do you mean with QBSound.bi? The Midi routines? To be honest, I don't know. It would be the same way you would with normal midi. Pitch bend is easy; in fact there is a routine for that already created. Most of the bends and vibratos would be micro changes in the note's frequency, again easy with a pitch bend.

Slap, hammers and so on would be done (I imagine) with a velocity parameter of the note on command. This would also depend on the wav table you are using for the midi.

Reverb, chorus and other sound effects all have midi commands for them, look up midi hex commands on google to find them or.... look in the code, constants are there for them.

And don't you mean creating string instrument techniques? TAB is just a notation format for string instruments (and some keyboards and whistles). I also assume you mean guitar tab.
