Call the unit a "Dazdarian" :rotfl:
The other unit you could use is a percentage of the speed of light, unit C (for constant, e=mc^2). Then speeds etc would be like .1C, .05C. This method was used successfully in the "Gap Series". But it also lends to confusion because every measurement is a fraction of 1, so I reccomend it only with extreme caution.
