At my school every year, there is a QB competition. Everyone has just had a year of learning QB so they aren't very good progs, but the one thing that amazes me is the huge number of ways that you can code a pong game. I'll dig them up some time, some of them were made in under 50 lines... :o

ps: I won my competition with my (now crap compared with what you guys are producing) CREATURE.BAS. I might put it on QBNZ. Or maybe not...

hating without a reason is like bread without a sandwhich, its just wrong. so lets get back to the pong. if you visit my site, witch i see no point in why you would, you can see two games that i have made, but only the source code. my comp wont let me make an .EXE file.

There was a good (post 9/11) rant in PC Gamer a while back about whether it was still okay for terrorists to be enemies in FPSes... they gave a list of 'universal enemies' such as zombies, aliens, nazis, anything in a black hood & cape, etc... I've always put communists on such a list myself, but more as a joke than anything else... A good idea, yes, but human nature would never allow it, so there's no point speculating that a 'correct implementation' would result in a utopian society.

edit: And I don't use XP or a mac. Sorry for continuing the hijack on your thread, dan.
