Space Viper 2
#1
yo, wazup? oh well, heres space viper 2. once you start you play to the first boss, kill him and move straight onto the next level. I really doubt that i will actually finish this so consider this a final release. you move with the arrows and shoot with space, which also selects in the menu. there are a few minor bugs, hopefully nothing too serious. please give me some feedback on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

This used the (non-sucky *cough*blitz*cough*) RelLib. Thanx Rel.

Oh yea, it was coded on a P166 16meg ram and runs fine. i dont think that it will run smoothly on anything less cuz my coding on this sucked!

I think something's wrong with the link, I can't get in... Would you mind if I reviewed this when it works though? I'm sure it'll be a blast since it uses one of the %99.999999999999 non-sucky qb libs. *runs away*

The only QB Lib which sucks if BQLB45.LIB  The other ones represent some people's hard work and dont' suck at all

About the game, it is pretty cool. I have a suggestion for your next games: Add a tiled scrolling layer and it'll rock. I loved those old arcades where you smashed a space station from time to time.

megaman, right click, save as. its a geocities thing 8) good idea about that scrolling layer, ive seen it in a few games and it does make cooler. if anyone actually finishes SV2, it would be cool to hear...

PS. megaman, feel free to review it if you want, you might wanna check out the original Spave Viper i did a while back too. just dont be too hard on them eh?

Nice game, although I was killed in action when I confronted that slime-ball-level1-boss-who-was-eyeballing-me... Cool gfx also!

Cool game. Gave it a quick spin just now. Unfortunately the computer is very intolerant to DOS apps, but it looked neat. Perhaps you should lock the framerate to the vsync, tho. I was at about 75 fps (p2@400mhz) and some of the ships were moving far too fast to hit.

Are the ship movements scripted or hard coded?
