Memorizing this stuff
#1
I have been studying Quick Basic 4.5 for 5 months now and I think that it is very confusing. Also some one said that ASM is good to make qb have more features.Where can I download ASM?

Also, I think the reson I am having troble learning qb is because I have troble remmebering things, what is the best way I can keep the stuff that I have learned in my head, so that I can remember it for later.

I love Quick Basic better then Python...

And Python is new.........

Oh yea catch ARPGME

There's only one true proven way to do that :-).

1. Make sure you understand what you are learning, if it's clear it will help stay in the head.

2. Practice what you learned. IF you learn how to loop using the DO LOOP syntax, make sure you create a few programs that use it, all different ways. that too will greatly help remember what you learn :-).

What I like to do when I learn a new language is create an idea for a project that I'll be adding on while I learn the language. (put the theory to practice as soon as possible :-). then I go back to it, once I'm done with a tutor or a book and review in detailed what I did and see if I can't make it do the same thing differently or faster or using less lines etc etc. Good mental exercises that will also help remember what you learn :-).
hen they say it can't be done, THAT's when they call me ;-).

quickbasics are one of the easiest languages to be learned, they were created to teach and to learn, possibly you would prefer to choose one of the first versions, they are simpler

ASM it's more difficult than quickbasics

look for the simplest examples to practice, then repeat them
