How true Smile . Why can't we all learn to get along and stop arguing? Even though FB is clearly superior in some aspects, some people like to use software from back in the old days. In fact, I program both in FB and PDS 7.1 all the time!

You know, it's actually possible to convert mode 12h to a 800x600 16-colour mode. You need to fiddle around with just about all the registers in the VGA, and it doesn't work with everyone, but it DOES work. You just need the right monitor.

Talk about thread revival...

Anyway, you'd need a high-quality multiscan monitor (or a scan doubler) to see 800x600 on a VGA, because the refresh would be about 40 hz...putting it out of the range of most consumer monitors.
