English word? Maybe Arkanoid Clone is suitable for your game.

First, to use absolute paths hardcoded is a really bad idea.

Second, to not using a timer and/or VSYNC code to slow down the thing on fast computers is a bad idea. (but thanks IagSsathath, for he illuminated me about the concept "Vitesse means Speed" so I could play.)

Third, to ask for opinions in an english-based forum about a game who has the in-game text in french is another bad idea.

Fourth, to start every game with the ball going directly to the Lungs of Hades is not only a bad idea, but frustrating as hell also.

Fifth, once you die and enter your name in the top-ten list... why you kick the butt of the player directly to the DOS realm instead to simply go back to the main menu?

And last but not least, despite the many flaws of this game, it's by far more funny than its fancier-but-boring-as-hell "brother" named Arquanoid, just because your game allows to change the direction of the ball. Also, good idea to use the mouse to move the paddle. That gives a better "emulation" of the dial controller found in the original Arkanoid.

My final review? Nice game, but not enjoyable.

Good for you and your game, so you can reach a bigger audience.

First of all, replace that "C:\KASBRIK\..." for ".\". That will reference the same directory/folder containing the game.

Second, the ball should appear almost attached to the paddle, so you start your game "shooting" the ball.

Third, your game needs translation.

I've seen both. That may have been the original, but every clone spells it slightly differently...
