Why I am called "the Father of Visual Basic"
#1
A little history:

http://www.cooper.com/alan/father_of_vb.html

Interesting that VB (the real VB, not VB.Net) started out as a "shell construction set" merged with QuickBasic.

The Father of VB, I bow before.

By the way, I get an error when I try to compile your program, Mr. Match. Perhaps you didn't declare your ":king:" variable before using it in your C++ program? :-P

I think the topic title could just be referring to the name of the article, as opposed to a personal statement.

Hey, that's cool! So now I can actually tell people that I know the father of VB and actually tell the truth...

So, we have 2 fathers here... One's the father of VB and one's the father of FB...

This implies that he didn't know this and thus finds it interesting. I could be wrong, but like I said, I think he's referring to the article written by 'the father of vb'.
