Would anyone happen to know if there's a Freebasic based tutorial out that would teach me how to make a client program, a server program, and be able to send information to client programs on other computers, based on IP Connection?

Remove your signature please, it's 600 freakin kb.

All you need to know:
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_net/
http://jcatki.no-ip.org/SDL_net/SDL_net_frame.html

The small example snippets are in C, but it's quite easy to follow.

I'd recomend using TCP/IP, and READING the documents, it's important, you must read them. Really. I'm not joking, read them.
