I recently began to play old games (using DosBox) that I havn't played for years. It was great to re-discover the pleasure of playing games that really was funny to play and not just a joy to look at. I think of games such as Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, Loom, Adventure of Robin Hood, the early Ultima games, Monkey Island, Lost Vikings, Spellcasting 101, Dungeon Master, Eye of the beholder, Another world and more...Wings of Fury (my favourite flying game)
Retro rocks.

Haven't played any of the games mentioned, but I can tell you that I love retrogames, though many are RPGs.
Since Sonic the Hedgehog has finally decided to revert back to his 16-bit self, I might check out SonicX. . .

Adventures of Robin Hood from 1992...I think...
A very funny (but short) game that is played in isometric view (same style as Populous used). Nice gameplay that allowed you (or Robin) to do some serious damage with the bow and in some cases (don't look at me) even kill some innocent animals on the way  Try it if you find it (think it's more or less abbandon-ware now anyways).
