Is it possible to write on qbasic something like FAR or Midnight Commander ? For Windows of course :wink:

i dunno if im going to get flamed for this, but if you want a language that is native to windows (not DOS, like qb) and also very powerful, you should try FreeBASIC. theres a forum here and also the compiler itself can be gotten at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/fbide...e?download , just download the fb + fbIDE, for easy setup.

Condor, it is possible to make in QuickBASIC (4.5) anything that you can make in DOS...

Just use libraries.

Qbasic doesn't do pure Windows code though so the answer would be no...
