the quickbasic 4.5 manual. I would like to be able to print off a copy of the commands so I can look them up a little quicker.

that I can print out. While I'm coding I usually like to just be able to open to a page and look it up. Unfortunately I'm LOL coding on an old laptop. It doesn't have a mouse so it makes things a little more difficult. LOL Anything would be helpful.
Thanks for that online version though. I will be using that one too.

like i just said in my post awhile ago, if you'd like me to post the uncompressed, unformatted help file i can, but it is over a megabyte of information in two files, and trust me, it isnt something you'd want to sit there and print it out, it'd be like printing out a book.
although, maybe pressing "printscreen" in the qb help might be a good idea, but it would take awhile. personally, it's better just to press 'f1' while programming and use the help till you have a basic command of qb's statements.

When I needed such kind of reference, I just copied QB help into a TXT file and printed it. It is handy and you'll be only printing the most used stuff. I did that with ASCII and keyboard scancodes charts, and also with the page that describes the array size formula to use with GET (that was were I was a real newbie and I did not know how to calculate that myself).

...and went into the help menu.
