I voted for VB-DOS professional. :-).

It's a bit more than PDS and the user interface is a bit better when working on bigger projects.
hen they say it can't be done, THAT's when they call me ;-).

I use VBDOS, more features than QB and a better interface (especially if you use 50 lines display).
If swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain walruses?

Agreed Jacob...very functional at 50 lines :-). but I still wish it could go 132x60 lol.

As always, the list is uncorrect. There's not such a thing as QuickBasic 7.1. Last QB version was 4.5.

You have PDS 7.1 which has the MS Basic Compiler 7.1. Not QuickBasic. It's a completely different line of products.

I think qb4.5. is best, but thats probably because its the lanquage I most use to using, well apart from PHP, which I am even more familiar with, but thats not basic...

I think that PDS 7.1 was the best because it allowed to use much more memory for strings and it was one of the very few compilers that allowed the creation of OS/2 16 bit applications.

As for quickbasic, that would be PDS 7.1, I used the heck out of that.... Even so much I had to reinstall the libs every so often from over use it seems... ...
(I was about to hit Other and say FB,.. but since its SOO dark side-ish,.. I wanted to avoid any sad new flame agianst something so nice,.. as of today,.. it is my favorite... =) )
