FreeBASIC made all these things possible. Keep in mind that the demos on the first page or two were made when FB was first released.

FreeBASIC is an open source Win32 compiler being made by some old QB guys. Go here:

Also note, FreeBasic is Just a compiler.... You need a IDE to work it unless you prefer using the command line or .bat files:

FBIde is a good one to use. You can get the FBIde and the FreeBASIC compiler all in one here:

Well, not originally, but yeah. It was originally from a commercial for "Life" cereal, IIRC. If Mikey likes it, then obviously everyone will like it! :roll:
