REAL programmers out there (meaning you worked on a huge project with tons of people which was sold for large sums of monetary tender):

What program did you work on?
Why are you here on some Qbasic programming forum?

No, no no. I'm just talking about those who don't consider programming a hobby, but a real job. You know, people who get paid MONEY to type all day.

Ignore everything I said and pay attention to the BOLD CAPITALIZED words.

1. Do you WORK for a COMPANY which PAYS you to PROGRAM REAL things which they in turn MASS PRODUCE and make MONEY off of?

2. How many people don't have jobs OTHER THAN programming?

/IWorking on an assigment for my German lecture while reading posts, actually said my reply in German without thinking, quickly followred by "Holy Flying Fickle Finger of Fate, I just said that in German!". never did that before, somewhat proud.

I'm a sofware developer, worked on more than one multi million dollar development contracts, at the time, our clients were Liz Clayborn and Nike. (80 million dollar deal). It was an inventory and manufaturing managment sofware for global (as in international) use.
hen they say it can't be done, THAT's when they call me ;-).
