REAL programmers out there (meaning you worked on a huge project with tons of people which was sold for large sums of monetary tender):

No, no no. I'm just talking about those who don't consider programming a hobby, but a real job. You know, people who get paid MONEY to type all day.

1. Do you WORK for a COMPANY which PAYS you to PROGRAM REAL things which they in turn MASS PRODUCE and make MONEY off of?
2. How many people don't have jobs OTHER THAN programming?

I'm a sofware developer, worked on more than one multi million dollar development contracts, at the time, our clients were Liz Clayborn and Nike. (80 million dollar deal). It was an inventory and manufaturing managment sofware for global (as in international) use.
