Good job, sounds like a superb lib. Although you are kind of late. We would all have had great fun playing with this a year ago, but now with freebasic most of us have no reason to code in qb anymore. Even with great libs like this, it is still far too restrictive and freebasic offers a far more dynamic and modern compiler.

Awesome work, I used it in a GUI a little while ago. Great job!

@The walrus: thanks :-)

@KiZ: thanks, too.
But I think that still more programmers use QB instead FB.
The FB users make only more PR... ;-)

sometimes vintage is better, some prefer older, sometimes it presents more challenges and adds that older style to things, look at space invaders, pac-man, and frogger, 3 classics that were really old yet are still very popular

Popular? These titles are only mentioned for historical reasons, that's their only popularity. Maybe except for programmers who want to do a remake for the hell of it or something. Most of the younger gammers these days wouldn't spend two minutes with them. I bought one of those Atari joystick consoles with like 5 old classic atari games on them, and my sons played it once, maybe twice and it sits in a dresser collecting dust.
(They love their PS2, and game boy advances Smile

Bye,

All games can have that older style, if that's what the programmer is aiming for Smile

Awesome work.

The problem is that there're more and more computers that don't support EMS at all, due to hardware constraints.

As hardware gets newer, older software fades, just last year I was plying Kye on my 13 year old computer that opened with a DOS menu then you had to load Windows, then I transfered it on floppys to my Windows XP computer, and it didn't work, it said it is imcompadible with this version of windows, and running in compadiblity mode for windows 95 doesn't work either, *sniffle* *sniffle*, why must computers be so limiting...

Because very few people use DOS programs these days. Computer and operating system manufactures won't make any extra money by adding support for those old things, and there aren't many requests for DOS program support. You can still run a lot of DOS programs using DOSBox, though Smile
