I made a new template for my homepage, and i'd appreciate any feedback. So far all I really want to do is change the font, but that's it.

if you don't get a red and grey website, press f5.
Thanks!

Hi barok,
I've just been to your website and well first off, excellent combination of colors. burgandy red and grey look like they were made for each other :-). I like the design I'm seeing and every part of the website really fit with the other sections. Excellent work if I do say so myself.
Not sure what you'd want to change the font to, but if you want a font that somehow manages to stay clear and easily readable, I would have to recommend arial (or most sans seriff typed font like verdana and MS Sans Seriff). Makes things clear to read.
Because it's called moon-utt software I'm thinking if you could take an actual picture of the moon somewhere and change it's palette to be in the same red as the red ball you already have there, it would be an awesome addition.
Lastly, link colors can be changed to any color so I would put them burgandy red (dark red) instead of the standard blue you have there right now. These are really minor changes, the design is absolutely awesome :-) good work.

Thanks! It took a lot of experimenting to find that combination.

Thanks! The trick here is to choose a good looking font that everyone would actually have. too many times i've chosen fonts that not everyone has.

actually, the "Moon-Utt software" thing is jsut a place holder.
I really have no idea what to put there.
But still, that is a good idea.

thanks aot! I definately plan on changing the link colours. Your support is definately appreciated.
After cleaning up the site template a bit, i'm probably not going to develop the site any further though until i teach myself some php and mysql to make it easier to update the site.

Not really sure about the new template, I dont like popup boxes. Especially those which say "Timeout error".
Get hosting elsewhere! Plenty of people cant access that site. Me included.

Everyone has Arial, don't worry about that.
Anyway, you can use style sheets to specify the font-family as something like: arial, helvetica, verdana, sans-serif
If someone doesn't have one of the fonts, it will go to the next one in line. Every browser has a serif, sans-serif and monospace font at the very least.

i got to the site, and i thought it was pretty good.
I love the colors, those are a great pair
the only thing i'd have to say is to add some more space between your text and your table, they seem to be bumping against each other a bit :-?
