Well the title pretty much says it all.
A few seconds after the windows XP installer tells me that the installation will be finished in
about 34 minutes it freezes and has to be restarted (coöd-boot) only to freeze again at the very
same position.
Any suggestions? I can access logfiles and such through the knoppix live-cd.
Funny facts about the computer acting funny:
- The Realtek RTL (something) Boot manager has started to beep twice after a funny ubuntu lockup.
- Since the very same lockup the POST beep and the boot manager is also sent to speakers if turned on...
- Knoppix has to be run with the noscsi parameter to not freeze when "probing for scsi something"
Sigh... I really should get my own computer...
