having trouble w/ fb and fbide

i went to compile some of my old code, code that i know is good.. and it wouldnt run or compile

i started to get a bit frustrated, so i typed

print "hello world"

and it still says "compile failed"

make sure the compiler path is fbc.exe and not fpp.exe

What is FPP anyway? I had the same problem, it took me three hours to figure it out.
