How do I chance a .bmp file in a pixel plus 256 .put file

I want to scan some characters I drawed on paper. And Edit them in pp256.

So I would like to know if it's possible and how I can chance a .bmp file in a pp256 .put file

To convert from BMP to PUT... ask one of the fellow users of PP256, 'cause they surely have an utility I think Relsoft had one.

Well, it wouldn't be too hard; since both are just 8-bit formats, just copy the color table out of the BMP into a .pal file and copy the data straight into the PP256 file byte-for-byte.
