It's in the readme-- Save points are the little 'S' sigils that activate when you get close. Press space when on one to bring up the save boxes, then backspace to exit the save screen. Tongue

awesome! The sound effects and graphics are very good quality, and the scripting engine seems great too!

Very smooth gameplay overall.

My only complaint so far is it is hard to get close enough to an enemy to attack without getting hurt when coming from above

Instructions for running on Linux:

1. Install wine if you don't have it. Then run wine so that you have a .wine folder in your home folder.
2. To run the game, open a console and type:
Code:
cd whereever_you_extracted_it/ll_beta2
wine ll_beta2.exe
If you just double click on the exe file, the game will complain about an spr file being missing, because wine will run it without the current working directory set to where the exe is.

Tested with wine 0.9.2 on Gentoo Linux. This works way better than running Windows in a virtual machine - I'm getting 1600 fps running it on wine Big Grin

anyways, i've been having wierd occurances. It appears that at random points at the game, it would just close. No warnings, no messages, nothing. Wierd.

yes, im using pointers... lol. it might not be 100% solid yet, i never claimed it would be. >.>

to be honest, i would release the source if it was complete, this is only a test ;p

i refuse to blame anything thats happening wrong on fb, until i modularize and clarify every line if i have to ;p

edit: i'm always finding huge mistakes that make me wonder how it ran in the first place. i assure you, i've tested it many times, i think my computer is just whack, and because of that able to run it virtually flawless every time o.O

edit2: just remembered i was gonna say this: if youre crashing, try running thru gdb if you know how, or any debugger. its compiled with debugging info, hence the exe being ginormous like it is ;P
